Julius has another approach.  By the time he had finished primary school his father had died and his mother could not afford to send him to secondary but he was able to go to a polytechnique to become a tailor.  He learned his trade over two years, owns his treadle sewing machine, rents space from the shop behind  and, as with Mama Beatrice, makes his living doing what he is proud of and good at.  His vest, our design.
